As I changed Hudson's diaper today, he had a nice, runny shart. The perfect time for his first bath!!! (Don't worry, I've been bathing him, but have just been giving him sponge baths.) This poop required much more than sponging. :) My dad was over, so he got to assist....thanks Dad!
I know a man named Michael Finnigan...
Did you sing that song when you took baths as a kid? Or is that a Willhite family tradition only? Comment and finish the song if you can!
He wears whiskers on his chineagan.
ReplyDeleteAlong a wind, blew them back in again.
Poor old Michael Finnegan, begin again.
TOTALLY know it! Definitely didn't sing it in the bath though...we sang normal people songs like 'Splish Splash... I was taking a bath" LOL!
Im out of the loop... dont know the song. Youre lucky he liked his first bath. Our neighbors probably thought we were beating the baby Keating hated it so much!
ReplyDeleteThis is so precious! Makes me so happy for Mike and miss Papa too! Appears it took him back a few years too. Bubbles were always a bath time must and make the best whiskers and beards for this song. I recall Papa had a bunch of songs he sang to us at bath time. So sweet that your Dad has carried on the tradition *In the pix Hudson looks as if he's attempting to put bubbles, I mean whiskers on his little chin as his Papi sings and craddles him safely in his hands.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great moment and memory for you and my bro, and to share with Hudson some day. LOVE to all of my family, each and everyone of you and thanks to Nana & Papa for, well everything. ALL of it. Would give anything for them to be here and watch them become even bigger puddles of melting jello than they were over you & sissy... it would be the best ever, just like Huddy's sugar huh?!? Just so you know, I CAN'T WAIT!!
YUM YUM! Oh I mean I miss you! Love 2 U 3 + E
DUH! Once it is in my head it never leaves..
ReplyDeleteLucky Papi !!!! Brought back some special memories !! Looks like he hasn't lost his touch.
